This on-line service attempts to connect people with needs with people who can provide those needs. It is still in the preliminary planning stages, but we would love to have more people make this happen!

Daily Work:
This organization is housed in our building and we support their great efforts. Their mission is to place unemployed people in livable-wage jobs.

Food Shelf:
We collect food in our large wooden food bin in our worship area and then deliver it monthly to Sharing Korner, our local food shelf. Team members can help with promotion and delivery.

Isaiah:
This is a faith-based community organizing group that partners with churches all over the Twin Cities to lobby on behalf of those who are most in need in our community.

The Lutheran Coalition for Public Policy in MN:
This organization is housed in our building and we support their great efforts. Their mission is to engage all people of faith in the promotion of public policy that supports peace, justice, and the care for all of God’s creation.

Meals for the Hungry, Loaves and Fishes:
Six times a year we serve an evening meal at this church-based soup kitchen. You can be part of the food prep team and/or the serving team. Monday afternoons and evenings in odd numbered months.

Minnesota Coalition for Battered Women:
This is an organization that we support that is an educational and lobbying group on behalf of women and women’s shelters. We have helped with administrative work and their “Clothes Line Project” displaying T shirts for people who have died in domestic violence. Our Women’s Group, the CLCW is the main avenue of connection.

Project Home:
As needed we are called upon to help staff this ministry to homeless families. Housed at various churches we can sign up to be a late afternoon welcoming team and or an overnight and breakfast team.

Tanzania Sister Church:
Every year we send $1,000 to our sister church in Tanzania. If you’d like to be part of this team, you could help stay in contact with that church and help keep our church informed about where our money goes.

Visiting People who are Homebound:
Six times a year Pastor Gary visits people who can’t make it to church. This is a team that is also committed to visiting one or more people several times a year.

Women’s Shelter, Eagle’s Nest:
This is the local women’s shelter we support. Currently we provide items as requested by the shelter such as suit cases, toiletries, towels. Our Women’s Group, the CLCW is the main avenue of connection.
